Adele Announces 2016 North American Tour
Adele’s new album 25 has already sold five million copies, and it came out less than a month ago. That is insane and mind-boggling, and it’s one sign, among many, that she is the biggest star we have seen in a long, long time. So when she tours North America next year, she could easily play stadiums. But she’s not doing that. Instead, for her first American tour in five years, Adele is playing basketball arenas — intimate venues, considering what she could be doing — and she’s playing multiple-night stands in almost every city. The North American tour won’t kick off until next summer, but I’d be willing to bet that 25 doesn’t drop out of the Billboard top 10 before the tour starts. Check out the dates below.
