Professional shouter DJ Khaled joined Snapchat a couple of months ago, and since then, he’s spent much of his time on the app dispensing motivational wisdom about “the key to more success” and documenting his jet ski adventures. (He really likes to jet ski.) But today, as Complex reports, disaster struck aboard the H.M.S. DJ Khaled, which is what I like to imagine he calls his jet ski. After jet skiing his way to Rick Ross’s house in Miami for a nice lunch and then jet skiing off on his merry way again, night fell, and DJ Khaled found himself lost at sea, unable to navigate his way back to land in the darkness. Eventually, he made it home safely, but not before documenting the entire harrowing experience on Snapchat. Even in his darkest moments — “This shit real out here, boy,” as he says in one video — he’s able to offer some pearls of insight to his fans: “The key is not to drive your jet ski in the dark.
