Jaill – “Paint Me Scary”
Psych-pop three piece Jaill apparently works very quickly — and, I should add, effectively. After dropping their Brain Cream LP on Burger Records this past summer, they already shared lead single “Port Of Call” from their Infinity Cat tape Wherever It Be . “Paint Me Scary” is the band’s latest offering, just ahead of the tape’s release this Friday. Deceptively deep surf vocals are delivered playfully against warped guitar strums on top of switching drum patterns. It’s a nice blend of surf and psych; listen below.
Whatever It Be is out 1/8 as part of the Infinity Cat Cassette Series.
