Last year, the 20-year-old Bay Area rap prospect and E-40 protege Nef The Pharaoh released a self-titled EP that was among our favorites of the year. He's planning to follow that one up with Neffy Got Wings, a collaborative mixtape with the producer Cardo. And as its first single, he's offering up "#Saydaat," a queasy Bay banger that features fellow regional rapper Philthy Rich. If you're allergic to songs with hashtags in their titles, maybe you should make an exception for this one; it's one of those simultaneously-chill-and-rowdy tracks that only Bay Area rappers ever do right.
