The I Don’t Cares – “Born For Me”
The I Don’t Cares is the project of the Replacements’ Paul Westerberg paired with Boston singer Juliana Hatfield that began shortly after the Replacements’ reunion tour. Their debut album Wild Stab is out this Friday, and today we got a third single from the record, “Born For Me.” The track is a revamped version of Westerberg’s solo song from 1999’s Suicaine Gratification. The I Don’t Cares recording is a more upbeat, full-band version of the original. “Born For Me” follows the previously heard “1/2 2 P” and “King Of America.” Listen at The Current.
Wild Stab is out 1/22 on Dry Wood Music.
