Watch Sleater-Kinney Rip Through “Modern Girl” On Austin City Limits (Stereogum Premiere)
We’ve called Sleater-Kinney the best rock band of the past two decades, and they more than live up to the designation. They’re making their debut(!) appearance on Austin City Limits this weekend, alongside Heartless Bastards, and we’ve got video of them performing their timeless Woods track “Modern Girl” (also the origin of the title of Carrie Brownstein’s excellent recent memoir) below.
