In a couple of weeks, Animal Collective are coming back with their new album Painting With. First single "Floridada" was frantic and colorful burst of weirdness. And now they've shared another track called "Lying In The Grass," which was previously teased on their Painting With app. This one is slower and more meditative, but it's very much in the same vein. The track relies on the group's layered harmonies, and it has a wacky, sproingy sense of energy to it. Listen below, via Pitchfork.
