The creation of Kanye West’s new album has been a confounding open book. Between the constantly changing tracklist and the addition of new featured guests just a week-and-a-half before its release, one could get the sense that Kanye has no idea what the hell he’s doing. And that’s probably partly true! But all of this flip-flopping is a fascinating insight into his creative process, and evidence of his latest bout out indecisiveness comes courtesy of Kanye’s number one muse, Kim Kardashian. Just a little while ago, Kardashian posed the following question on Twitter:

Which album title do you guys like better? @kanyewest

She then added a So Help Me God option, which we all thought was dead:

We can only assume that she’s acting as a mediator for Kanye himself — she also announced the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays (which turned out to be all for naught) and explained its delays — so it seems like he’s experiencing some doubts about changing the album’s name from Swish to Waves (both of which are pretty lame, in my opinion) just last week.

The results for Kardashian’s poll are particularly illuminating — as of writing this, one of them stands at an even 50/50 split, with almost 8,000 votes cast. That’s pretty impressive! And the other is almost a three-way tie, with So Help Me God currently taking the lead a bit.
