LA production duo Phantoms are prolific when it comes to remixing. They are back at it again with their rendition of Rihanna's Drake-assisted single "Work" off of Rihanna's "platinum" album ANTI.
Phantoms keeps the Caribbean-tinged rhythms and speeds up the infectious synth bass line for a more bouncy feel than the original. They also inject a little bit of cosmic funk with echoed, spacey synths, and a glitchy drum pattern. A sliding atmospheric sweep introduces a few bars of Drake's verse, picking up the energy.
