Hamilton Cast, Chris Stapleton, Justin Bieber With Jack Ü, & Hollywood Vampires’ Lemmy Tribute Added To Grammy Performances
It’s that time of year again. The 58th annual Grammy Awards take place in LA on 2/15, and we already know that Lady Gaga will pay tribute to the late David Bowie by singing a medley of his songs. Adele, James Bay, Ellie Goulding, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, and the Weeknd are also slated to perform as will the cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical Hamilton. Today it was announced that Justin Bieber, Skrillex, and Diplo will perform as Jack Ü for the first time ever on live TV, and Chris Stapleton will join Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt in a tribute to B.B. King. Those performances will probably be pretty good. Do you know what will not be pretty good? Or even a little good? Travis Barker, Robin Thicke, and Pitbull in what has been billed as an “unforgettable performance.” Chilling. Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry will perform as the Hollywood Vampires, and according to Rolling Stone, they plan to pay tribute to Lemmy Kilmister, who died late last year. Read about why the Grammys hopefully won’t suck this year, and get ready for our comment party during the award ceremony.
