Martin Shkreli Invokes Fifth Amendment Right Not To Discuss That Wu-Tang Clan Album
Martin Shkreli appeared in front of a House Congressional committee today to discuss drug prices, and repeatedly exercised his Fifth Amendment right to not testify in order to avoid self-incrimination. Among the many questions he chose not to answer was one concerning the Wu-Tang Clan album that he purchased for millions of dollars. C-SPAN aired video of the exchange, in which a visibly pissed off U.S. Representative lists off what Shkreli refused to respond to and then adds, “We can even talk about the purchase of … is it … Wu-Tang Clan? Is that the name of the album … the name of the group?” Shkreli’s lawyer leans over and whispers in his ear, and Shkreli can barely keep from smirking out his pleading of the Fifth. Watch below.

Hard to accept that these imbeciles represent the people in our government.

I had prior counsel produce a memo on facial expressions during congressional testimony if anyone wants to see it. Interesting precedence.

My lawyer will be on @CNBC at 4:20 to talk about today's "hearing" (Congress talking to itself, having facts wrong, etc.). Tune in!
