Meek Mill Placed On 90-Day House Arrest
Amid his ongoing beef with Drake (which bafflingly continues even though Drake clearly won), Meek Mill has had some more important matters to deal with. According to The FADER, a Philadelphia judge found him guilty of violating his parole in December, and today he was sentenced to a 90-day house arrest to begin on 3/1. Meek avoids jail time due to some leniency from Judge Genece Brinkley because “he has a lot of support,” which she took into consideration. Nicki Minaj testified on his behalf in December along with other friends and family members. So presumably the Drake/Meek beef continues because he will have plenty of time to ruminate on things and record new music. The third installment of his 4/4 EP may be in the works as neither party seems to be able to let things go.
