RJD2 – “The Sheboygan Left”
Genre-blending Philly producer RJD2 is prepping to drop his latest solo LP Dame Fortune this spring. He’s already unleashed the soulful lead single “Peace of What” and today he’s back with the funky, wobbling joint “The Sheboygan Left.” The track begins with big drums and a whomping bassline before opening up into synth sweeps, big band horns, and vocal wails. A percussive breakdown then comes in about halfway through with wildly weird cosmic synths before chicken grease guitar careens through the ozone with huge crashing cymbals. Dame Fortune is shaping up to be a very funky ride. Check out “The Sheboygan Left” below.
Dame Fortune is out 3/25 on RJ’s Electrical Connections.
