Of the many, many puzzling things that Kanye West has said and done in the past few weeks, perhaps the most puzzling has been the announcement that he has $53 million in personal debut, followed by the campaign to get Mark Zuckerberg to give him a billion dollars. This sort of thing should be a godsend to every late-night host, but as far as I know, the only one who’s really bitten is Stephen Colbert. Colbert had fun going in on West on last night’s episode of the Late Show. Best line: “He shall overcome. After all, I believe it was Martin Luther King who said, ‘Please give me $53 million.'” Watch the bit below.
