Iggy Pop – “Sunday”
We’re only a few weeks away from the release of Post Pop Depression, the album that grizzled legend Iggy Pop recorded in secret with lead Queen Of The Stone Age Josh Homme. We’ve already heard two of its songs, “Gardenia” and “Break Into Your Heart.” Today, Pop has shared a third. It’s “Sunday,” an oddly funky lurch that rides a scratchy groove for five minutes, before dissolving into an orchestral coda. The song continues to support the theory that this album is going to be fucking badass, and you can hear it below.
Post Pop Depression is out 3/18 on Loma Vista.
