Brooklyn Museum Announces Nude Iggy Pop Exhibit
Iggy Pop is no stranger to getting naked on stage, but for a new art exhibition he stripped down in a different context. Last weekend, the Stooges frontman and rock legend was the guest model for a nude life drawing session at the New York Academy Of Art. The project, which was conceived of by London-based artist Jeremy Deller, invited 21 participants to sketch Pop as they saw fit — their drawings will be part of an exhibit on display at the Brooklyn Museum in fall 2016, with a tour to follow. More information can be found here.
Iggy Pop will release a new solo album, Post Pop Depression on 3/18 via Loma Vista.
