Win Butler, Miguel, John Oates, & Kamasi Washington Cover Drake, Bowie, & More At Okeechobee Fest
Last night, Win Butler and Miguel presided over the PoWow! all-star jam at Florida’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, fronting a group that also included John Oates, Kamasi Washington, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and members of the Meters and Soulive. Their setlist featured covers of David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and more, with Mac Miller helping out with Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and Marcus Mumford and Skrillex joining in for the encore of the Clash’s “Rock The Casbah” and Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove.” Watch them perform Drake’s inescapable “Hotline Bling” and “Let’s Groove” below via Pitchfork and check out Miguel’s Periscope to see more footage shot from the stage.
