Ashley Shadow is the singer-songwriter Ashley Webber, a Vancouver musician who’s worked with people like Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Pink Mountaintops. Next month, she’ll release her self-titled debut album, and we’ve already posted the early track “Tonight.” Today, she’s shared “Tired,” a bleary and beautifully sung midtempo number that slowly layers on some serious distortion. It sounds very much like a product of Vancouver’s whole perma-stoned rock universe, and yet it’s also intimate and personal. Check it out below.
