Next Wednesday in Austin, Stereogum’s presenting an official nighttime showcase at the Bud Light Factory at SXSW. The 3/16 event features six acts you should be very familiar with if you read this website! We’ve got:

• Jana Hunter’s dream-rock crew Lower Dens, a Stereogum Band To Watch from 2010
• Rising R&B trio KING, recent Stereogum Album Of The Week honorees
• Chicago garage-poppers Twin Peaks, also Stereogum Band To Watch alumni
• Evan Weiss’ Into It. Over It., star of our 2014 Cover Story on the emo revival
• Brooklyn avant-pop duo Chairlift, whose beautiful third LP Moth is in Heavy Rotation
• Rap’s Hood Pope A$AP Ferg, subject of our new Cover Story in advance of his 2nd LP

The Hood Internet are the night’s DJs. This event is 21+ and open to SXSW badge holders. You can find the Bud Light Factory at 204 East 4th St. (hint: it’s normally called Brazos Hall).
