Stream Iggy Pop Post Pop Depression
For his new album Post Pop Depression, punk legend Iggy Pop went to work with Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme producing. Homme and Pop recorded the whole album in secret at Homme’s studio in Joshua Tree, California, with QOTSA/Dead Weather multi-instrumentalist Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders filling out the backing band. The result is a dank, creepy record, one that explicitly recalls the music Pop made with David Bowie in the late ’70s. We’ve posted the early tracks “Gardenia,” “Break Into Your Heart,” and “Sunday.” And right now, you can stream the entire LP below, via NPR.
Post Pop Depression is out 3/18 on Loma Vista.
