For the fourth year in a row, Red Bull Music Academy is bringing a month-long festival to various NYC venues. Highlights from the series of live performances, club nights, lectures, and workshops include Anohni performing music from her new album Hopelessness live for the first time ever, director Spike Lee discussing the use of music in his films, Kamasi Washington sharing a bill with jazz legends Pharoah Sanders and the Sun Ra Arkestra, and a roundtable with Atlanta rap producers Metro Boomin, Sonny Digital, and Zaytoven.
