Watch Bon Iver And The Staves Play “Flume” In A Hong Kong Stairwell

Bon Iver are kicking off their Asian tour in Seoul next week, and as Pitchfork reports, they’ve just announced a series of in-the-round “Cercle” shows coming to the Sydney Opera House’s Vivid LIVE festival 5/27-30. All three members of the British harmony-folk sister act the Staves are part of Justin Vernon’s backing band for this tour; he produced their 2015 album If I Was. And on YouTube just now, the Staves just posted a video of themselves, along with Vernon and various other Bon Iver types, singing “Flume,” a now-classic song from Bon Iver’s 2007 debut For Emma, Forever Ago, in a Hong Kong stairwell. They sound like they’re having fun together. Watch the video below.

It would be pretty cool if that Bon Iver tour made it to this hemisphere sometime soon. Just saying.
