In the months since David Bowie’s shocking death, the Hunky Dory ballad “Life On Mars?” has emerged as the Bowie song that, for whatever reason, everyone covers. Last week, we heard the shockingly great version that Trey Songz did for the Vinyl soundtrack. And in a new video that the Tonight Show people just posted, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, a recent musical guest on the show, is playing the song on piano when Jimmy Fallon rolls up and sings the song in a pinched Bowie impression. And one point, Roots guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas wanders in, plays the guitar solo, and wanders back out. Watch it below.
