Rihanna’s ANTI world tour finally kicked off earlier this month after some delays, but it seems there’s still some complications that not even a surprise Drake appearance can save. The Fader reports that the Weeknd, who was scheduled to open for Rihanna on 24 dates of the European leg of the tour from June through August, has dropped off the bill. No word on a replacement (the other opener for those dates is Big Sean), but Live Nation provided this appropriately vague statement: “Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour.”
