Dr. Dre is starring in Apple's first original TV series, the forthcoming scripted drama Vital Signs, and now the tech giant has enlisted another rapper/producer for their next project. Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am is teaming up with Ben Silverman and Howard Owens' Propagate to executive produce a new unscripted show about "the Apple app ecosystem," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "We've seen some really, truly inspiring and incredible stories from our developers in what they've done, where they come from, how they started and the problems they've solved," says Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software And Services. Silverman adds, "We can really tell their stories as we explore how apps are developed and created and incubated."

That's all well and good, but this is a series from Apple about apps, so really, the big question here is: Will Will.i.am's fellow Black Eyed Pea Apl.de.ap be making an appearance? Fingers crossed!
