Charli XCX has been cast in The Angry Birds Movie, the upcoming animated feature film based on the popular video game franchise. As Pitchfork points out, producer John Cohen announced via Twitter that she will voice a bird named Willow:

Charli joins an impressive cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, Peter Dinklage, and Blake Shelton (who will voice "country pig" Earl). Directed by animation veterans Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, the The Angry Birds Movie hits theaters 5/20. Watch a trailer below.
