Phife Dawg, the Queens rapper and co-founder of A Tribe Called Quest, passed away a little less than two weeks ago. Tributes have poured in since then, and now, A Tribe Called Quest have announced A Celebration Of Phife, an event to honor their fallen comrade. It's unclear exactly what the event will be, but it'll take place tomorrow, 4/4 at 10:30AM in Queens' St. Albans Memorial Park. According to a message on the Smokin' Needles Records official website, "The first 200 fans to arrive will receive something very special!"
