Last year, Jack White announced that he’d take a hiatus from playing live. But first, he’d embark on one more goofy project in a career full of them: He’d play acoustic shows in the five states where he’d never performed. In the new Vault Package from White’s Third Man label, we’ll hear some live music from those acoustic performances. The new Vault Package includes the Live In Idaho double LP, a full document of White’s Boise performance, as well as a DVD of his Alaska show. And below, you can hear that show’s rambling, countrified version of “Sugar Never Tasted So Good,” a song from the White Stripes’ self-titled 1999 debut. Check it out below.
