The 5 Best Videos Of The Week

It's not, strictly speaking, a music video, but William Tyler's trailer for his forthcoming album Modern Country might've been the best thing I saw all week. In any case, it's right up there with the Star Wars: Rogue One trailer and the Kill Zone 2 trailer on the "trailers that have me all fired up right now" list. But since it's not a music video, Tyler's trailer isn't on this list. Instead, you will find this week's picks below.

5. Chloe X Halle - "Drop" (Dir. Andy Hines)

These two are Beyoncé proteges, which means they've taken a master class in "looking like unearthly goddesses in music videos." Those lessons are paying off.

4. Big Grams - "Drum Machine" (Feat. Skrillex) (Dir. Bryan Barber)

The concept -- "furries parting too hard in public" -- isn't even remotely interesting. But the execution is enough to make me wish I owned a fox costume.

3. Kill The Noise & Feed Me - "I Do Coke" (Dir. Brandon Dermer)

Easily the most punk thing I've seen this week.

2. Schoolboy Q - "Groovy Tony" (Dir. Jack Bergert & The Little Homies)

"Faceless mafia-assassin psychopath" is the role Q was born to play.

1. Chance The Rapper - "Angels" (Feat. Saba) (Dir. Austin Vesely)

If Chance The Rapper plays a superhero who turns Chicago into a utopian footwork dream, that video is going to end up on the top of this list. That's just always going to happen.
