Fear Of Men – “Trauma”
Brighton trio Fear Of Men are following up their gorgeous 2014 debut Loom with a new album called Fall Forever, which will be out in June. We’ve already heard lead single “Island” and seen its gothed-out video, and now they’re letting loose with another new track from upcoming LP. While the jangly indie-pop of Loom belied the darkness of the band’s lyrics, that darkness is immediately apparent in the sound of their new material. “Trauma” undergirds its circular riff with chilly organ-like electronics as Jessica Weiss sings, “You give me trauma/ You give me more than I can bear/ I rise above you/ I burn my body on the fire.” Listen below.
Fall Forever is out 6/3 on Kanine Records.
