Hiss Golden Messenger played a special session this week for WXPN/NPR's World Cafe series Sense Of Place, which explores the music of different cities. In one of their North Carolina installments, M.C. Taylor revealed that he has a new LP coming out 10/7. Phil and Brad Cook, singer Tift Merritt, and pedal steel guitarist Eric Heywood all joined him to perform a new song from it. Watch their performance of "Happy Day" over on the VuHaus website here.
