J. Robbins is a DC punk legend, a former frontman of the great post-hardcore bands Jawbox and Burning Airlines. These days, he's a family man, living in Baltimore and producing bands like Two Inch Astronaut and Coliseum. But Robbins also makes his own music from time to time, and in preparation for a quick tour, he's just thrown a couple of new tracks up on Bandcamp. "Anodyne" and "Abandoned Masters" are both clanging, cathartic guitar-storms, and if you've ever had a nice thought about Jawbox, you will hear plenty of greatness in them.
