Fear Of Men – “Sane”
Fear Of Men make the kind of music that I want to hear in a church with sky-high, vaulted ceilings. The singles we’ve heard off of their forthcoming album, Fall Forever, are huge in a muted, atmospheric kind of way. This new one, “Sane,” follows “Island” and “Trauma.” There’s a certain sinister darkness to all of these songs, and lyrically they explore a power struggle.
“I’m free from fear/ I’m a monument to myself/ I see you drowning/ Half-flesh, half-stone,” Jessica Weiss sings on “Sane.” Listen below via Spin.
Fall Forever is out 6/3 on Kanine Records.
