Last month, the great R&B impressionist Maxwell returned with the woozily beautiful "Lake By The Ocean," his first new song in seven years. And last night, he was on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, singing "Lake By The Ocean" and giving his first TV performance in many years. Maxwell remains an almost absurdly beautiful and talented man, and even if you don't like the song, his white suit and the smile he gives at the end should be enough to convert you. But it's a great song and a very good performance. Check it out below.
