Radiohead – “Daydreaming” Video (Dir. Paul Thomas Anderson)
Following this week’s animated clip for “Burn The Witch,” Radiohead have shared another new song called “Daydreaming” along with a video by guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s longtime collaborator, the great film director Paul Thomas Anderson. The song is an absolutely gorgeous six-minute piano ballad, and the video (as teased this morning) makes Thom Yorke walking into something visually stunning. There is some backwards talking at the end, too, which someone has helpfully reversed and sped up here.
Radiohead have also announced that their ninth full-length album will be available digitally this Sunday 5/8, with physical release to follow in June. Watch below and get psyched!
Radiohead’s album, whatever it’s called, will see digital release at 7PM BST/2PM EDT this Sunday, 5/8, via XL. That’s Mothers’ Day, so buy a copy for all the moms in your life. Physical release will follow on 6/17.
“Daydreaming” is now available digitally to stream and purchase. This is the single art:
