Tonight, Vice are throwing an afterparty at NYC’s Pier 59 Studios to celebrate their Digital Content NewFront. During the event, Kurt Vile played Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” backed by a house band composed of Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Nick Zinner and Brian Chase, TV On The Radio’s Jaleel Bunton, and producer Money Markand, and Win Butler joined them for a cover of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.” In addition, Butler teamed up with Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, Perfect Pussy’s Meredith Graves Kristin Kontrol of Dum Dum Girls to sing the Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy In The UK.” Pusha T, Charli XCX, and more also performed.
