Palmistry is the moniker of Benjy Keating, a London purveyor of dancehall pop. He’s set to drop his new album Pagan this summer. He’s shared the melancholy, summery jam “Club Aso” and today he’s back with another bouncy, gloom-tinged tune “Lifted.” Keating sings tenderly “Believe me, it’s easy to miss you forever” on the infectious hook as he mourns a lost love he won’t soon forget. That sad sentiment over the buoyant synth dancehall rhythm makes for a luring tension that invites you to apply dance therapy to your lovelorn pains. Listen.
