The Spook School – “Gone Home” Video
The Spook School are contributing two new tracks to Slumberland and Fortuna POP!‘s upcoming Continental Drift split, one of which is the pastoral and soft-spoken “Gone Home.” It’s a mellow progression from the celebratory and joyously inventive indie-poppers on the Scottish band’s sophomore album, Try To Be Hopeful, as Anna Cory takes on vocal duties and muses on the desire to go back home to a time when life was simpler and more comfortable. The video sees the bandmates participating in a Hunger Games-style competition in the woods, and wraps up in a colorfully violent end. Watch and listen via Spin below.
