Sludge-rock overlords Melvins are planning to release Basses Loaded, their latest album-length experiment. On this one, they're teaming up with a whole pile of guest bassists, including Krist Novoselic. We've posted "Hideous Woman" and the band's version of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." And now they've shared something I wasn't expecting: A Beatles cover. The band has recorded an evil-but-tuneful version of the Beatles' Revolver song "I Want To Tell You," with Redd Kross bassist Steve McDonald sitting in.
