Retro Pop Music Performance Series Greatest Hits Coming To ABC
ABC has ordered six episodes of a new music series called Greatest Hits. Hosted by Arsenio Hall and country singer Kelsea Ballerini, the show will feature classic and contemporary artists performing hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s — a press release promises “special solo performances, never-before-seen duets, and incredible tributes” — with each episode focusing on the music of a specific five-year period. Ken Ehrlich, James McKinlay and Raj Kapoor are executive producing, Leon Knoles is set to direct, and David Wild will serve as writer-producer. The series premieres 6/30 at 9PM on ABC.
