Mykki Blanco – “High School Never Ends” (Feat. Woodkid) Video
The confrontational New York rapper Mykki Blanco is working on an as-yet-untitled new album, and the first single “High School Never Ends,” is a grand, romantic, sweeping thing. The French singer-songwriter Woodkid produced the track, and he also sings the hook. And the brand-new video, from director Matt Lambert, is both moving and ambitious. The clip retells the Romeo And Juliet story, this time turning it into a tragic queer love story, setting it in small-town Germany, and turning it into a fable about the conflict between a black family and a skinhead one. “High School Never Ends” is out now on iTunes.
