Courtship Ritual – “Down Low”
Back in 2014, the New York duo Courtship Ritual scored an Album Of The Week with their debut LP Pith, an album of sly and insinuating bedroom dance-pop that recalled both the xx and the early-’80s Factory Records roster. And now they’ve returned with a new track called “Down Low,” a percolating, propulsive, minimal pop song that positively radiates old-school New York City cool. Check it out below.
“Down Low” is part of the Godmode label’s song-a-week Faculty series; check out the full series here.
