Courtship Ritual – “Down Low”

12:52 PM EDT on May 18, 2016

Back in 2014, the New York duo Courtship Ritual scored an Album Of The Week with their debut LP Pith, an album of sly and insinuating bedroom dance-pop that recalled both the xx and the early-'80s Factory Records roster. And now they've returned with a new track called "Down Low," a percolating, propulsive, minimal pop song that positively radiates old-school New York City cool. Check it out below.

"Down Low" is part of the Godmode label's song-a-week Faculty series; check out the full series here.
