Jarvis Cocker – “Theme From Likely Stories

Jean-Baptiste Mondino

New Jarvis Cocker music has been sparse since his 2009 solo sophomore album Further Complications -- though he did contribute a track to Beck's Song Reader, create some fake hit records for an art show, and share a song in response to the Paris terror attacks -- but the Pulp frontman has written new songs for the BBC series Likely Stories, which is based on four short stories by Neil Gaiman. He also worked on the score for the series. There are four new songs, one to go along with each episode, and they will be collected on a 7" that will be out digitally next week and in stores at the beginning of June. You can listen to "Theme From Likely Stores," a full-length version of the opening title music, below.

Tracklist:
01 "Theme From Likely Stories"
02 "Foraging"
03 "Looking For The Girl"
04 "Poor Babes In The Woods"
