New Strokes Single Premiering Today?
The signs are piling up, and it looks more and more like we’re going to hear some new music from the Strokes this morning. Massive strokes wall projections have shown up in New York and London, and Cult Records, Julian Casablancas’ label, has shared images of those projections on its social media. Here’s New York:

Meanwhile, this morning, Casablancas is set to launch Culture Void, his own satellite-radio show on SiriusXM. The first episode is this morning, and a Brazilian Strokes fan Twitter has audio of another SiriusXM station announcing that he’ll debut new Strokes music this morning.

And in a week and a half, the Strokes will headline New York’s Governor’s Ball festival, and guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. hinted to a fan on Twitter that maybe they’d have some new music in the set:
