The young Australian singer-songwriter’s winsome ballads course with complex currents of emotion, and they’re lifted to new heights by rich electro-organic production. One great demonstration of that formula at work is EP opener “Nothing’s As It Seems,” which gets a music video by director Andy Symons today.
