Watch Bon Iver Presents Cercle From Vivid LIVE Fest In Sydney

Last month, Bon Iver, with a brand-new backing band, played a special series of in-the-round live "Cercle" shows at the Sydney Opera House as part of the VIVID Live festival. Most of us couldn't be there, and while we've posted fan-made video of Justin Vernon singing Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me," it's still nice to get a clearer image of what those shows were like. But now, VIVID Live has shared professionally-shot videos of three different songs from one of those performances: a noisy "Creature Fear," a spacey "Michicant," and an a cappella version of "Heavenly Father," with the three sisters in the Staves backing up Vernon. The videos look and sound great, and these are some powerful, expansive performances. Watch all three songs below, via Pitchfork.

UPDATE: Here's another one of them performing "Calgary":

It would be pretty cool if Bon Iver brought this show stateside. Just saying.
