WALL – “Milk” Video
Brooklyn post-punk band WALL released their eponymous debut EP back in January, and today revealed a video for the ominously aggressive track “Milk.” Director Kevin Hayden cultivates rising tension as two blonde Girl Scouts with a heinous agenda prey on the band members as their unsuspecting targets of choice. Yet the scene-stealing performance comes via Ramona Brooks, the feline actress who plays a house cat that watches in horror as the proceedings take place. Her distraught gaze and horrified shudder towards the end cement the looming sense of hopelessness, and alongside the visual of a child in a gas-mask sadistically watching car exhaust getting pumped into her victims is distressing in a manner that’s tough to shake off. Check it out below.
WALL is out now on Wharf Cat.
