Thom Yorke, Nigel Godrich Share Petition For Second Brexit Referendum
Brexit is happening. The UK just voted to leave the EU in a referendum on Friday, with 52% in support of an exit and 48% to remain and a voter turnout of 72.2%. A whole lot of people are not so happy about that decision, however, including Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich. The band’s frontman and producer have both tweeted out a link to an official petition calling upon the British government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum.
