EZTV – “High Flying Faith” (Feat. Jenny Lewis)
New York throwback trio EZTV are gearing up to release their sophomore full-length, the followup to their 2015 debut. It’s called High In Place and was recorded on an old tape machine and features contributions from Chris Cohen, Real Estate’s Martin Courtney and Matt Kallman, Quilt’s John Andrews, Nic Hessler, and Mega Bog. It also features a guest spot from Jenny Lewis (who they’re opening for later this summer), and they’ve wisely decided to lead off with that track: “High Flying Faith” is a wistful and chiming look back on all the changes that have undergone NYC since the band first started out, and was inspired by the lyrics of Skip Spence’s “Broken Heart.” Listen below.
