At the beginning of the video for “I’m Done,” Kathleen Hanna refuses to participate in an awkward interview charade involving reading nasty comments about herself from the internet, an act that has become a gross recurring segment on shows like Jimmy Kimmel. She opts to leave, instead heading to a karaoke bar to sing her own song in a radical act of self-love, even going as far as to sing the message of the track to past versions of herself on the monitor.
